3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information for third-party marketing.

We may share information only where necessary to provide the service, process payment, file an application, keep records, deal with disputes or comply with legal obligations. This may include the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office, payment processors, banks, finance or payment providers, form and website service providers, email or cloud storage providers, professional advisers, accountants, regulators, fraud prevention services, or authorities where required.

Information submitted as part of a UK trademark application may appear on official UKIPO records, including the public trade mark register.

4. Payment information

Card and payment details are processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our website. We may keep transaction records, invoices, payment confirmations and related order records for business, accounting, tax and dispute purposes.

5. How long we keep information

For customers who purchase a service, we may keep order records, application records, instruction forms, payment records and related correspondence for up to seven years for accounting, tax, legal, dispute and business record purposes.

For enquiries that do not proceed, we may keep basic enquiry and communication records for a reasonable period so that we can respond to follow-up questions, manage our records and avoid duplicate work.

6. Security

We take reasonable steps to keep information safe, including using secure payment processors, access controls and appropriate storage methods. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free, but we aim to keep client information protected and only accessible where needed.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you are based and which data protection laws apply, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where appropriate, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, or a copy of information you have provided.

Some records cannot be deleted immediately where we need to keep them for accounting, tax, dispute, fraud prevention, legal or business record purposes, or where information has already been submitted to UKIPO as part of an official application.

UKTrademark.org provides UK trademark filing support. The service may include reviewing the information you provide, considering suitable trademark classes, preparing filing information, helping with the UKIPO application process, and communicating with you about the application.

The service is available to UK and international clients who want to apply for UK trademark protection through the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office.

2. Information you provide

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information. This includes the correct brand name, business owner details, contact information, goods and services, business activities, future plans and any known similar names, disputes or previous applications.

We prepare the application based on the information you provide, together with any clarification, review notes or final approval received from you.

3. Initial review and approval to proceed

An initial review helps identify obvious issues and whether the application appears suitable to move forward based on the information provided. It does not guarantee acceptance or registration.

We may decline to proceed, ask for clarification, recommend changes, or suggest that an application should not be filed if the information provided suggests a significant issue.

4. Pricing and currencies

The standard UK trademark package starts from £455 GBP for one class. This includes a £250 service fee and the £205 official UKIPO online filing fee for one class.

Additional UKIPO classes are charged at the official UKIPO additional class fee, currently £60 per additional class, unless otherwise confirmed.

USD, EUR and AED figures shown on the website are approximate guide prices only. Exchange rates and payment provider conversion may change. The final payment amount is confirmed before checkout or payment.

5. Payment

Payment must be made through an official payment link, invoice, payment processor or approved payment method provided by UKTrademark.org / Shanco Agency. Agents, affiliates or representatives are not authorised to take cash payments, personal bank transfers or payment into personal accounts.

Work starts after your application has been approved to proceed, your instruction has been confirmed and payment has been made.

6. Client approval

You may be asked to confirm the information to be filed before submission. It is your responsibility to check that names, addresses, brand details and business information are correct before approval.

If incorrect information is provided or approved by you, further work, amendments or a new application may require additional fees.

7. Communication

We may communicate by WhatsApp, email, phone, online form or other reasonable business communication methods. You are responsible for monitoring communications and responding promptly where information or approval is needed.

8. Website content

The website content is provided for general information about UK trademark filing support and brand protection. Website content may be updated at any time.

9. Limits of responsibility

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by you, delays caused by missing responses, third-party systems, payment provider issues, UKIPO delays, third-party opposition, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

1. Immediate start of work

UKTrademark.org / Shanco Agency provides a service that begins immediately once your application has been approved to proceed, your instruction form has been signed or submitted, and payment has been made.

By signing or submitting the instruction form and making payment, you request UKTrademark.org / Shanco Agency to begin work immediately.

2. What work may include

Work may include reviewing your information, checking brand details, considering suitable trademark classes, preparing UKIPO filing information, carrying out administration, creating or accessing UKIPO filing details, processing payment provider, agent or administration costs, communicating with you, and paying official UKIPO filing fees.

3. Change of mind after work starts

Because work starts immediately, the service fee is non-refundable once work has begun.

Once the official UKIPO filing fee has been paid to the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office, that official fee cannot be refunded by UKTrademark.org / Shanco Agency.

If you change your mind after payment and after work has started, you will not be entitled to a refund of the service fee or any official UKIPO fee already paid or incurred.

4. Before work starts

If a payment has been made but work has not yet started and no official UKIPO fee, payment provider cost, agent cost or administration cost has been incurred, a cancellation request may be considered. In most approved applications, work begins immediately after payment.

5. Service issues

This policy does not affect statutory rights where the service has not been provided with reasonable care and skill, has not been provided as agreed, or where a refund or remedy is required by law.

We work carefully and diligently to reduce the risk of avoidable issues, objections or incorrect filing information.

However, no trademark filing service can guarantee that a trademark will be accepted or registered. The final decision rests with the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office, and third parties may have the right to oppose an application.

In rare circumstances, even after checks and preparation, an application may receive an objection, face opposition, or fail to proceed to registration.
